Article 1. Definitions
- TWS: TWS Publishing Company, is a registered company located in Suyeong-gu, Busan, S. Korea.
- Client: Anyone who enters into an agreement with TWS for services or who purchase products from TWS.
- Service(s): All services carried out by TWS for client
- Product(s): All products available for purchase by client
- Document(s): All documents provided to TWS by client, including, but not limited to, manuscripts, collected/curated materials, writing samples, artwork, photographs, letters of varying type, copy, and all other document types
- Order(s): An agreement between client and TWS in which TWS undertakes the provision of certain services or provides certain products
- urnaround: The period of time it takes to return a finished product to client
- Expert: A natural or legal person who is engaged by TWS to perform the services in an order

Article 3. Applicability
- These terms and conditions apply to any tender, offer, order, or other agreement between client and TWS.
- When it appears that one or more of the provisions of these terms and conditions is at any time wholly or partially invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain fully applicable.
- When the interpretation of one or more provisions of these terms and conditions is unclear, an explanation that is “in the spirit” of these provisions shall be applicable. This is also the case when a situation that is not detailed in these Terms of Use arises.
- If TWS is not in strict compliance with these Terms of Use, it does not mean that the provisions are invalid or that TWS loses its right to otherwise demand strict adherence to them.
- Our Copyright Policy is incorporated by reference in these Terms of Use, and client agree to comply with this policy when using our Services.
Article 4. Offer
- An offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products and/or services being offered to client by TWS. The description will be detailed enough that client can properly assess it and make an informed decision. Mistakes or obvious errors within the offer are not binding on TWS.
Article 5. Order
- The order is concluded when client accepts TWS’s offer.
- TWS will confirm receipt of client’s acceptance of the offer by electronic means.
Article 6. Modification of the order
- If, during the execution of the order, it is revealed that it is necessary to alter or supplement the order so as to implement it properly, TWS will consult client, and client and TWS will agree to any modifications to the order.
- TWS can refuse a request to modify an order without being in default of the order or omitting anything therein.
Article 7. Cancellation of an order by TWS
- TWS has the right to cancel an order after it has been concluded.
- TWS has the right to cancel an order if TWS considers that the document uploaded by client does not meet minimum requirements.
- The minimum requirements for a document are as follows:
- The document must be a minimum length, depending on the service required.
- For all editing services, the quality of the document must be such that an expert can check the document in a standard manner. This assessment of quality is undertaken by TWS. If the quality of the document is deemed to be too low, an expert cannot edit the document following the normal procedure.
- Client must not appear to be committing fraud, plagiarism, or any copyright violations.
- All content, including documents, uploaded to TWS must comply with our Copyright Policy. Violations of this policy will result in TWS canceling an order.
- When TWS cancels an order, we will contact client as soon as possible.
Article 8. License to client’s content
By submitting content (including documents) to TWS, client grants TWS a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free, fully paid, transferable, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers of sub-licensees), license to translate, modify, store, edit, display, perform, reproduce, distribute, and otherwise use client’s content in connection with the operation or use of TWS services, in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed). The rights granted to TWS under this section are perpetual (subject to Article 9, Retention of documents) and irrevocable, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
For clarity, this license enables us to provide the services and is not intended to otherwise limit client’s ownership rights in regards to client’s content. Moreover, we only share client’s documents with experts and third party vendors to enable us to deliver our services and do not share them with other users.
Article 9. Retention of Documents
- If client purchases any editing service, TWS will store client’s uploaded document(s) on its server for up to one year.
- If client requests a plagiarism check, client gives TWS permission to save the document in a protected and private Turnitin Database. This database is only accessible by TWS, and the documents it contains cannot be viewed by educational institutions. Documents in the protected database within Turnitin are automatically deleted after one month.
- The nature of all editing services necessitates that the TWS expert receives the document being checked. Once the expert has finished checking the document, they are contractually obligated to delete it from their files.
Article 10. Review period for all services
- The editing period will be determined when the editing service is purchased.
- The assigned expert may decide when the document is checked, so long as they deliver the checked document on or before the deadline.
- TWS will communicate the editing period to client in advance via email.
- The editing period shall begin at the time of payment and end when TWS returns the checked document to client.
- If the expert anticipates they will not meet the deadline, TWS will inform client in a timely manner.
- TWS is not responsible for unforeseen technical problems that lead to client receiving the checked document late.
- For all other services, the publishing process period will be determined at the outset of the project once purchase is complete.
- TWS is not responsible for unforeseen technical problems that lead to TWS missing pre-determined deadlines.
Article 11. Cancellation instructions
- If client cancels an order for any editing service, client is obligated to pay for any costs that TWS has reasonably incurred in connection with undertaking the order to date of cancellation.
- If client cancels an order for any publishing process service, client is obligated to pay for any costs that TWS has reasonably incurred in connection with undertaking the order to date of cancellation.
- If TWS cancels an order for any reason, TWS will notify client in a timely manner.
- If TWS cancels an order, reimbursement to client will be based on the Refund Policy.
Article 12. Improvement of Services
TWS and its affiliates may apply machine learning and AI techniques to documents for the future improvement of our writing services. TWS will endeavor to remove personally identifiable information from all documents shared with affiliates for this purpose.
Article 13. Take-Down Requests; Claims of Infringement
TWS expressly prohibits users from uploading, posting, or otherwise distributing through the services any content (including documents) which may violate another party’s intellectual property rights, privacy, publicity, or other rights. If any user believes any content submitted through the services violates or otherwise infringes upon any of the user’s rights, the user is encouraged to contact TWS immediately to request that the allegedly offending content be removed from the services. The user acknowledges reading TWS’s Copyright Policy, which sets forth how to make a takedown request for copyright infringing content.
Article 14. Liability
- If TWS is liable, this liability is limited to what is stated in these provisions.
- TWS is not liable for damages of any kind that occur as a result of TWS being provided incorrect and/or incomplete information by client or on client’s behalf.
- If TWS is liable for any loss, liability is limited to the invoice value of the order for the portion in the order to which the liability relates.
- TWS is not liable for any damage suffered by client in the event that TWS rejects an order.
- TWS cannot be held liable for damage to and/or loss of documents that are stored by TWS or third parties.
- TWS cannot be held liable for consequences and/or potential damage to client in the event that it does not meet an editing period or publishing process deadline.
- TWS cannot be held liable for failing to discover plagiarism when undertaking a Plagiarism Check or for failing to detect text written by an artificial intelligence machine when using the AI detector.
- TWS cannot be held liable for consequential damages. These include, but are not limited to, damages caused by client such as, but not limited to, receiving a poor grade (academic), receiving poor reviews, loss of sales, or other adverse consequences.
- TWS has and reserves the right to manage the restitution of damages to client, if possible and to the extent possible.
Article 15. Changes to these terms of use
TWS reserves the right to amend or supplement these terms of use.
Article 16. Applicable laws and dispute settlement
- All legal relationships to which TWS is party are subject exclusively to Korean law, including when the other party involved in the legal relationship resides wholly or partly abroad.
- All disputes will be settled by the competent court in the district where TWS is located.

Copyright Policy
Article 1. Introduction
TWS Publishing (hereinafter referred to as “TWS”) is dedicated to maintaining high standards of integrity and respect for intellectual property in all our publishing, editing, copywriting, and branding services. This Copyright Policy outlines the principles and procedures related to the ownership and use of copyrighted materials in connection with our services.
Article 2. Ownership of Copyright
- Materials provided by Client: Clients retain full copyright ownership of any materials they provide to TWS for publishing, editing, copywriting, or branding purposes. This includes manuscripts, artwork, graphics, logos, and other creative works.
- Materials Produced by TWS: Copyright of any original content created by TWS, including but not limited to written content, graphics, design elements, and branding materials, is owned by TWS unless otherwise agreed in writing. Upon full payment for services rendered, TWS transfers exclusive rights to the client, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the contract.
- Joint Works: In cases where TWS collaborates with clients to produce joint works, copyright ownership will be shared as per the terms outlined in the specific agreement between TWS and the client.
Article 3. Licensing and Use
- Client Rights: Upon full payment for the services provided, TWS grants the client a perpetual, worldwide, exclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display work(s) for any purpose, subject to any restrictions agreed upon in writing.
- Company Rights: TWS retains the right to use excerpts of the work for promotional and portfolio purposes unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing.
Article 4. Third-party Materials
- Use of Third-party Content: TWS respects all third-party copyrights and expects clients to do the same. If a client provides third-party content for use in their project, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses.
- Company Assistance: TWS can assist in obtaining permissions or licenses for third-party content upon request, for an additional fee.
Article 5. Copyright Infringement
- Company Responsibility: TWS takes copyright infringement seriously. If we discover that any materials provided by clients violate third-party copyrights, we will notify the client and may suspend or terminate the project until the issue is resolved.
- Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for ensuring that all materials they provide to TWS for use in their projects do not infringe on any third-party copyrights. Clients agree to indemnify and hold TWS harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from copyright infringement claims related to materials they provide.
Article 6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any disputes regarding copyright ownership or infringement, TWS and the client agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation before pursuing any other legal remedies.
Article 7. Amendments
TWS reserves the right to amend this Copyright Policy at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes to the policy, and the revised policy will be made available on TWS’s website(s).

Refund Policy
At TWS Publishing (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we strive to provide high-quality editing, copywriting, publishing, and branding services to our international clientele. We understand that sometimes, circumstances change. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for refunds and cancellations.

Article 2. Refund Eligibility
2.1. Digital Services
- Editing and Copywriting: If you are not satisfied with the initial draft of your project, you may request revisions. If, after the revisions, you are still not satisfied, you may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on the work completed and the extent of the revisions. Contact us with your refund request for review and eligibility, based on the following:
- Initial Deposit: For work that require an upfront deposit, this deposit is non-refundable. However, you may be eligible for a refund of any remaining balance if you decide to cancel before work commences.
- Upfront Payment in full: For most services, we require an upfront payment before commencing work. This deposit secures your project and covers initial costs. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable, except in cases where we are unable to provide the agreed-upon services.
- Multiple payment agreements: For projects requiring multiple phases, subsequent payments will be outlined in your service agreement. These payments are due upon completion of specific milestones. If you cancel your project after any milestone has been completed, we will retain any payments made for work completed up to that point.
2.2. Cancellation
You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided that work has not yet begun.

- Reason for the refund request
Article 4. Review Process
